My name is Mindietta Vogel. I grew up at the base of Blacktail Rocks in the beautiful town of Eagle River, Alaska. I draw inspiration from the land around me—the frigid river, the alpenglow mountains, and the nourishing wildness. I make nature-inspired art and poetry that are born of, by, and for this place I love.

I have been learning to paint and draw since 2016. About three years ago, I discovered watercolor to be my source of true artistic joy. This winter, I worked on my first watercolor series, Flowers.
