In many ways, this pen and ink drawing is where my artist's journey began. I took an art workshop with a friend in Winter 2016. Over four sessions, I drew this barn owl and remembered the joy of making art. 

This summer nine years later, I devoted my watercolor attention to a series of Alaskan bird species. This is an ongoing project.
